We started back in 2022
Librexplore (LBE) was born from a desire to give small and medium scale mining the place it deserves within the mining industry. While small and medium scale mining projects can be as impactful as larger projects, they lack the technical and financial resources available to larger mining projects. The artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) sector accounts for 20% of global production of certain metals, such as gold, and up to 30% for certain critical metals, such as cobalt. It is a sector that stands out for its economic and social impact as well as for its environmental footprint.
